The Lt David Schmitz Foundation's mission is to foster opportunities for young, aspiring aviators to achieve their goal of flying in honor of Lt David Schmitz's legacy of overcoming life's obstacles to achieve his dream of flying. The Foundation provides aviation scholarships.
